Preparation of CV, Business Card and Showreel.
I already have my CV and business cards printed.
As for the showreel, I currently have a collection of work from 2020-2021 (please see previous post). the animation work I’ve done in 2022 is very different in style than before, so I’m planning to make an updated showreel after I graduate, with some clips from my graduation film and more personal animation practice ((I haven’t had time to start working on this part yet haha, but I’ve already got a lot of ideas and wrote them down.)

I have completed three versions of the business card design and have selected two of them for printing. The style of material chosen for these two business cards is very different because my titles are animator and illustrator, so I chose two styles with different emphases to highlight my abilities that match the titles.

Here are the printed samples of business cards.

This year, the Annecy Animation Festival is taking place from 11 to 17 June, so I’m planning to bring some of my business cards with me in the hope that I can meet some professionals in the industry during the festival and get the chance to send them out.
As well as afterwards I would like to send the short animation made in Unit 2 to some animation festivals.
I also collected some links related to animation festivals.

Now I’m a tiny bit worried about writing cover letters (yeah just a bit XD) when I’m looking for a job, after all, each one is different that maybe I have to write so many of them and I feel awkward of talking about myself. But take it one step at a time, be patient and it will all work out anyways!
Also I’ve uploaded my cv, portfolio and showreels on my Linkedin. These days I searched job from this site the most.
Here is the link of my page.
